White Fang #1508 This is the story of a wild wolf-dog's journey in the Canadian territory of Yukon during the Klondike Gold Rush. Orphaned White Fang relies on his instincts as well as his inborn strength and courage to survive in the wilderness despite both animal and human predators. White Fang lives in a camp of Amerindians until he is sold to Beauty Smith who uses him to make money by fighting dogs. They starve him and he lives a rough life. But, finally, a gold hunter, Weedon buys him, treats him kindly, and teaches him to trust humans. White Fang learns loyalty and love for Weedon and a young helper, Matt.
