Math in Focus: The Singapore Approach Grade 8 (Course 3B) 2nd Semester Homeschool Kit. Through multi-day lessons and minimal repetition from year to year, Math in Focus students learn concepts in depth to mastery. An emphasis on visual learning ensures that students understand how procedures work and can apply them in problem-solving situations. Math in Focus aligns to the Common Core Domains to prepare students for algebra and higher-level mathematics with focus on ration, geometry, number, statistics, and expressions. Course 3B includes a Student Book and Teacher's Edition for one semester of study. Students should complete Course 3A for first semester study prior to 3B Course in order to complete a full year of study. The assessment book is sold separately and includes assessments for the full year. Optional components include the Blackline Activities book and the Extra Practice Books, sold separately. Course 3 is Recommended for Grade 8.
