Four Square for Writing Assessment - Secondary

Students will learn an organized, Four Square approach for brainstorming, as well as a simple three-step revision process to use on their initial drafts. On assessment day, teachers cannot confer with students, and students cannot assist one another. The writer must have a method to deliver their best writing on demand. That writing needs to be organized, focused, detailed, and engaging. The writer needs a plan on assessment day, and the Four Square plan is the best way to get the job done. Gr. 6-8. 48 pages.
