Join the Sassafras Twins as they travel to exotic locales to learn about animals. Together, you will learn all about the amazing animals that can be found around the globe.

In the book, Blaine and Tracey Sassafras visit locations like:
The African Grasslands to discover more about the lion and cheetah;
The Amazon Rainforest to learn about the sloth and poison dart frog;
And the Alaskan Arctic to study the musk ox and snow goose.

The twins will meet a variety of local experts who help them to learn about the animals in the region. Along the way, they will all discover a budding interest in science. We want you to enjoy learning about zoology, too!

Program Details

Ages: 5 to 12 years old

Grades: K to 5th grade

Length: One semester (1 chapter per week for 18 weeks)

Reading Level: The novel is at a 5th-grade reading level. (Although older students and adults love our story, too!)
